Media training techniques and exercises are tailored to the individual client’s interests, assets, objectives, strengths and weaknesses. Ms. Assuras bases her practice on the belief that the most effective public communication is the successful projection of the individual’s personality, character, and interests, and projected in a manner that makes the message and the messenger a welcome presence in the public arena.

- Understanding the media through an analysis of the interests, proclivities, bias and needs of the anchors, reporters, producers and editors who have influence over news content and presentation;
- thorough review and analysis of previous interviews and other interactions with media;
- crafting consistent and effective messages ensuring they are designed to penetrate the communications environment;
- providing effective techniques for staying on message;
- simulating, recording and analyzing interviews;
- identifying effective characteristics and mannerisms;
- refining vocal techniques, body language and general appearance characteristics, including clothing, posture, and make-up; and
- exploring techniques that enhance confidence.
